Another successful Rosso acoustics symposium

On Monday 13.07.15, Rossoacoustic's second "Acoustics Symposium" took place at the Mock-Up, the Nimbus Group's unique showroom, and it proved to be a great success.

The well attended training event was primarily aimed at specialist retailers from the south of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, who responded with tremendous enthusiasm.
Rosso sales manager Adnan Fetic opened the event with a few words of welcome before Prof. Jens Wittfoht, proprietor of wittfoht architekten, the renowned Stuttgart firm of architects (WTO Geneva), delivered an interesting architectural introduction to the world of acoustics. The basic principles of room acoustics were then explained in detail before Jens Victora, the head of the acoustics planning department at Rossoacoustic, gave an impressive presentation on the subject. The new dimension in Rosso's acoustics-related product consulting - room acoustics measurement and the incorporated representation of speech intelligibility and reverberation time also aroused lively interest and a huge demand among the attendees. This was followed by a presentation of the brand new Rossoacoustic PAD ceiling system, and the informative day was then rounded off in practical workshops in which the participants had to acoustically treat rooms in accordance with corresponding measurements, whereby they experienced the distinct benefits of the flexible and featherweight Rossoacoustic system. In addition, innovative real-life examples demonstrated just how many design options are possible for open-plan rooms with the numerous different Rossoacoustic products.
