Nimbus partners Corinna Schumacher for third time at riding event

The SVAG CS Classic, held from 9th – 14th July at the CS Ranch in Givrins, once again offered top class reining and an entertaining program for families from the entire region.
The SVAG CS Classic – organised by Corinna Schumacher, wife of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion – is one of the largest reining events in Europe. Around 150 horses and Europe's best riders come to Givrins on the shores of Lake Geneva and the best judges ensure that scores are awarded fairly. In the last few years, the CS Ranch has also turned into something of a destination for family outings during the show weekend for those living in and around Nyon.

The sporting highlight of the show week is undoubtedly the open competition on Saturday afternoon. However, as far as entertainment is concerned, the highlight comes in the form of the Celebrity Reining at 7 o' clock on Saturday evening in the CS Ranch arena. In this event, Michael Schumacher takes on various big names from the world of television and, once a year, tests his skills in reining, the passion of his wife Corinna. Sarah Connor won the Celebrity Reining 2012, finishing ahead of Michael Schumacher and ex-Formula 1 driver Riccardo Patrese.
The CS Ranch in Givrins is one of the most beautiful facilities in Switzerland. The SVAG CS Classic tournament, which the Nimbus Group has now sponsored for the third time, is famous for its relaxed family atmosphere but also offers top quality sport.

Reining is one of the most demanding forms of western riding. Horse and rider need to master various movements: fast and slow circles, flying changes, spins, sliding stops, rollbacks and backups.
