Dedicated team of runners in 24-hour sponsored run
At the end of June, the Association for a Child-Friendly Stuttgart invited the city's sporting enthusiasts along with all children and their families to participate in its sixth 24-hour run for children's rights. The run's objective is to draw attention to children's rights and to support local children's projects with the donations that are "run up". In 2012 participants ran for the right to a safe childhood.
The Nimbus Group joined in with a dedicated team of runners and played its part in achieving a record-breaking participation of around 2,000 runners: in 10 hours of running, a total of 23,840 laps was completed, which means that the runners chalked up 9,536 kilometres!
