Whole host of design awards in 2012 and promising prospects for 2013

In 2012, the Nimbus Group's new products made a very positive impression on the most coveted design awards. It was our new <page:493 - Roxxane> family of LED luminaires in particular – our personal favourite this year – that really conquered the hearts of the juries.

For example, in autumn 2012, it won a "Focus in Silver" for outstanding design at the Focus Open, the international design prize awarded by the state of Baden-Württemberg. This award is held in high esteem by companies and design agencies and is especially appreciated because of its non-commercial nature.

The Nimbus Group earned with <page:493 - Roxxane> a "Special Mention" at the German Design Award 2013 - presented by the German Design Council - for the outstanding quality of its design.

Our new rossoacoustic <page:468 - TP30> acoustic panel, which features a fabric-covered surface, also won an award in 2012. This new product was presented with the "Innovation Award For Architecture Textiles Objects" awarded by the Heimtextil fair and the AIT and xia IntelligenteArchitektur architecture journals.

We are especially pleased that <page:493 - Roxxane> has already won the "Interior Innovation Award" to be awarded at the imm cologne 2013! This independent and sector-oriented award is nowadays considered one of the most prestigious design prizes in the interior design sector. The imm cologne is the ideal venue for the competition, which is held under the auspices of the German Design Council. The prize-winners will be displayed within a special exhibition at the imm cologne 2013, which will run from 14th to 20th January 2013.
