Nimbus racing: 24 hours on wheels in the "Green Hell"
Hardly any racing track in the world is as famous – or infamous – as the Nürburgring. Above all, the legendary north loop, known as the "Green Hell", has a reputation in the world of motor sport.
On 20 and 21 August, this "green hell" became the centre of bike racing.
For many years, "Wheel on the Ring" has been the format that has attracted over 4,000 cyclists to the Eifel every year and has called for their best efforts.
The participants can expect the hardest 24 hours of the year – singly or as part of a team of 2, 4 or 8, they can race their high-tech bikes on the track and "rock" the ring.
The Nimbus racing team took up this challenge and sent their best man to the races. As a single competitor, our employee Jürgen Serr, prepared intensively for the race and, in the end, achieved an excellent 6th place in the overall evaluation in the mountain bike category . A super result!
We congratulate him on this outstanding achievement and look forward to the next race.
